Tejaswini Bondala was born in the village of Kanchikacherla. She went to NTR high school. She is currently a second year engineering communications student at Vizaynagaram JNTU. Her dad is a farmer and her mom is a housewife. She has one older brother who is working an engineering job in Hyderabad.

Tejaswini says the scholarship has helped her a lot with paying her college fees on time. She plans to work as a software engineer after graduation and wants to stay in India. She is seeking employment at companies such as Infosys.

Her goal is to buy her dad a house once she begins earning. Her parents are happy with her goals. In her free time, she enjoys going to the library and playing games.
