Mohamad Ahmad Qureshi grew up in Pithapuram, Andhra Pradesh in India. His father was a shopkeeper, and his mother was a homemaker with three other siblings Mohamad led a life with daily financial strain. Despite this Mohamad was committed to his studies and achieved first place in the technical project expo at his university. He looks back on this experience fondly as not only was it a great accomplishment, but by working with other students on a team he was able to learn valuable teamwork and communication skills, which will be beneficial as he begins looking for jobs after graduation.
Currently, Mohamad is at JNTUK pursuing a degree in BTech, and his current goal is to place in PSU through the GATE exam. With the help of the Next Step Foundation Mohamad is using his scholarship to pay for coaching for his GATE exam, to ensure that he can achieve the best score possible. He expressed gratitude towards our donors and knows that the amount spent on education is an investment in future minds.
